A truly one-of-a-kind vacation retreat located on North Captiva Island in Florida. Just 5 nautical mile off the west coast of Florida on a private beautiful tropical island. Take a leisurely stroll down to the gently rolling waves, or stay at home and enjoy your 34' private heated pool. Our house is located at the intersection of Rum Road and Panama Shell Drive. The state beach access is right in our own front yard. Just a short walk down the sandy path and you arrive at awesome pristine sandy beaches with no houses bordering the beach.

*Additional golf cart available and may be added to a Windswept vacation rental.

Maximum occupancy 10 people (7 adults max with guest registration and owner permission). No Pets. No Smoking.

Check in is always 4PM and Check out is by 9AM.

Two thirds of the island is wildlife preserve for the State of Florida Parks. This means that, at Windswept, you overlook and enjoy 2/3 of the island, untouched and spectacular, from a vantage that few who visit North Captiva will ever see!

Windswept is a vacation rental that collects the many perfect qualities of a vacation rental home on North Captiva. Elegant bedrooms, spacious living areas, decks with sweeping and expansive views. The privacy that is so prized and unique on this island cannot be compared to other locations... not even beach front locations.

 

 



Our beach access is beautiful and sandy, leading to the best beaches on the island... no houses... just beautiful sandy beaches!

Our Preserve Beach Access is at the beginning of the trail into the state land... The trail starts right at our house! Our Vacation Property, Windswept, is proudly; Owned, Booked, Maintained, and Managed by US the OWNERS. We take pride in our properties. Quoted Rates will include 11% tourist tax, one golf cart (unless specified), cleaning fee is included (yet basic clean-up is required for tenant prior to departure), and use of the NCIC's guest amenities. Only licensed drivers over the age of 16 are allowed to drive golf carts on the island. (Discounted rate quotes are valid for bookings/reservations made within 5 days of offer). Discounted rates do not leave room for any travel agent referral fees. Our required damage deposit is $375 (in addition to the total rents) and will be refunded to you within 15 days after departure. We also require a deposit of 25% of the total due at booking with the balance due 30 days prior to arrival. All rents are paid in US Dollars. Maximum Occupancy 10 people unless specified, only with owner permission. Owner reserves the right to charge additional fee for groups over 10 persons, over and above any advertised rate or special. *Special restrictions exist for the total number of guests over 16 years of age. Guests renting Windswept as part of a multiple house group on the island are not permitted and will be considered a guest initiated cancellation, if occupancy is over the limit. Windswept is also not available for Wedding Groups of any size. No Smoking. No Pets. North Captiva is a private island and water taxi tickets for the ferry are additional. We strongly encourage ALL guests to purchase trip/travel insurance to safeguard their journey and vacation investment.
